How renewal actually works.
Most subscriptions bill monthly forever. The Semester Pass renews on exactly two dates a year, matched to the academic calendar:
August 8
Covers the fall semester.
January 8
Covers the spring semester.
You pay $15 today and you're covered through the upcoming renewal date. Buying within six weeks of a renewal date? That one is skipped, on us: a late-November purchase is covered through all of spring and doesn't renew until August 8.
No surprise charges. Seven days before any renewal, you get an email reminder with one-click links to update your card, pause, or cancel.
Taking a semester off? Pause instead of canceling: the next renewal is skipped and billing resumes automatically the following semester, with your courses kept. Or cancel fully anytime — you keep access through the period you already paid for, and nothing renews after that.
